Prayers For Doris
I received this email from Louann this afternoon...
Dearest Prayer Warriors,
Our dear sweet Doris Cole- the doctors say that her heart is barely functioning and one kidney is gone and the other one is only at 11% - they say that it is a matter of time and they are calling in Hospice. (The doctor did say that if the family wanted he could hospitalize Doris to try to get some of the fluid out of her body but it would be a dangerous to her heart.) The family is being contacted by Carol Jay - she and mom went with Doris to see the doctor. Doris took the news pretty well. She said if it is her time to go, she is ready.
Let us pray for comfort for Doris and peace and God's mighty hand to be upon her. Mom (Ruby) was very upset - pray for her to have strength. Pray for everyone who comes in contact with Doris to be strong and may they offer comfort and love. May Doris be surrounded by love - God's love and her family and friends love. Please lift her up in prayer that she may feel our presence and be held in Jesus' arms May her last days on this earth be ones of comfort and peace and love.

Please join all of us that love this sweet, sweet woman in prayers of peace and strength. When Doris sets her mind to something, that's just how it is going to be. From what I understand she is ready to be dancing, singing, and joking in heaven with her dear sweet Ernie.
