A Party For Grace
Grace has become part of our family for sure. Emmy has been her Nanny since before she was born...she has two slightly older sisters that now go to school all day long. She asked Emmy is she could have a Dora birthday party at our house. Of course! She made out the guest list...Erika, Saffy and Ernie, Allyson and me. Yea! She decided on the menu...hot dogs, mac and cheese, chips, root beer and cake with ice cream. So we made it a play date.(I think Ernie kinda likes Allyson...don't tell her Daddy...is he holding her hand?) Emmy let her pick out her cake. Of course it had to have pink. Emmy made some little Dora characters to put on the cake. Grace arranged them just perfectly. I had one candle in this whole house...a black and white one. She said that was okay.
Dora Lego's...just what she wanted.
A special Dora Christmas book that she had asked Emmy earlier in the week to get for her. Great minds think alike because I had no idea she wanted it.
Grace loves babies. She needed this big box of things to go with her babies at home. She was so excited, I thought she was going to...well, you know what.
I will have to say that Erika won for the best gift...the one that got the biggest reaction. A bag of makeup and headbands. Grace wanted the pink headband on first thing and the she got into the makeup. She was sooooo excited.Looks like the party was a great success! Happy birthday Gracie!
