Cooking With The Boys
I think this is our second year cooking with the boys at Halloween. Michael has made it a tradition now. He plans for weeks and then sends me shopping while he is at school. This year we kept it pretty simple. 'Scaramel' Apples were a big hit. Luke and Michael worked so hard...
We had to unwrap a bag of caramels. Oh, how our mouthes did water.
Luke just sampled just a few of the jimmies. He had recently had to have a root canal and he was not allowed to have any caramel apples. I made him promise that he would brush his teeth extra long last night.
Michael had waited so long for this day. I can't believe that he didn't even take one little sample bite. He had some heavy decisions to make. Really focused.
While we were waiting for the apples to get hard...a little art work and a few brain teasers were in the plan. The party was a great success...but we did miss Skyler...he was AWOL. But there is always next year. I wonder how many years Michael will want to do this?
