Round Robin Photo Challenge...It's Hard To Be Green

Let me first explain. We have just survived the wind storm that is unprecedented in Ohio...Hurricane Ike blew in on Sunday. Devastating...state of disaster/emergency around the state. Seriously. We were lucky. I tell you all of this because I have just spent the last two hours working on this challenge to have now lost it all. The power company is working two doors down. I think my computer burped and then the blog entry was history. Rats!

This challenge comes from Julie. I looked at the other Robin's entries and have always thought I wouldn't used nature or things in nature. Seems I have being green on the brain. When I first read the challenge I immediately thought of living green. You know, reduce, reuse, recycle, repair.Eating from a cooler give you an entirely differnt prespective on things and what is really important. Looks like we have been 'drinking' our way thru the week. But I can promise you we have eaten very well. (See the later blog entires) I am in the process of collecting any and all glass jars to make hanging lanterns. So you see I am being green.

Check out the rest of the Robins...they have some wonderful actual green...the color...photos that are out of this world.

What a creative take on the theme. Looks like you're doing your part to save the planet!
Oh, well done! I was hoping someone would go with the modern usage of being green as environmentally responsible. I hope recovery from the storm is going well, and your life gets back on track soon!
