Window Stars

A few weeks ago I was visiting some of my favorite blogs and I saw a snowman looking into a window. In this window were the most colorful stars I had ever seem. I asked the author Moey of Mamma's Heart and Hearth to share the instructions with me. What a great instruction giver she is. I have spent most of the day working on stars for our kitchen windows. These pictures don't do them justice because the sun isn't shining. Early in the morning we get the best sun on this side of the house. I just couldn't wait to share them with you. So now I am going to make some to share with the teachers at preschool, my neighbors Michael's teacher, and of course Ellis and Alaire. they have the most perfect sliding door in their kitchen...we you look out you can see Long's Peak in the Rockies...I think they will love them.

If you would like to make some to brighten your windows...click on the link above. Good luck!

Oh Wammy! Your window is soooooo pretty with the ivy, budding branches and the crow thing. Is that a lamp? Your stars turned out beautiful! I am impressed that you figured out the "sun" -- that one took me F O R E V E R to make. Well done, and I'm so glad you shared with your neighbors. We did too, and also made one for our grandma in the nursing home. Fantastic!

Moey:the crow thing is just that...a crow thing. Just one of those coolthings you see in a chop and wonder where you can put it in your own house. I like things like that....old window frames, quilting hoops, old graters...I see a theme here...old..kinda loike me I guess...old but still useful. LOL
