Another Double

Thursday night at he play I noticed that Michel's face seems "puffy" and I noticed that he sounded like he had a bubble in his throat. We came home and I gave him all his regular meds and prayed we weren't headed back to the doctors office. Friday night when he sneezed he grabbed both ears and said that it hurt. My medical degree in Mommy told me I needed to call the doctor and make an appointment.....he is on antibiotics yet again for a double ear infection. I had a lengthy discussion with the pediatrician and this is what I was told..."Michael has had 4 double ear infections in the last three months...(DUH)...this area is the worst area for kids with asthma and allergies...(DUH)...He had passed the thresh hold for tubes..(go figure)...so a pediatric allergist should be the next avenue(thank you Jesus)...you should move to Hawaii or Arizona...(it's a nice thought but if Circuit City ain't hiring, we ain't movin)"... So Monday morning I make the call. Thankfully there are two highly recommended groups in our plan. Wonder how long it will take to get an appointment?

Oh, my gosh... tell me about it! I swear, this past month has about killed me with pharmacy costs! Antibiotics, antibiotics, antibiotics! And I don't think they've done a lick of good. Poor Olivia has had ear infections all her life, and we finally did tubes last year. It's the best thing we've ever done.

Poor Mike has had a sinus infection that just will not go away. What is going on this year?

can't wait to hear what "anonymous" has to say! (DUH) tell that doctor that CO is always an option.
