Another Snow Day

I know that all you Wisconsinites are wondering just what in the world we call school off for 3 inches of snow. It was not just the snow...it was all the stuff that came with the snow and all those people trying to get to work when they should have had an extra cup of coffee at home this morning.
I was up off and on because our weatherman said that we were going to get with a pretty good snow storm this morning. At 5:30AM my phone rings...our school are on a two hour delay. I flip on the tv to check on my school district...two hour delay. Which means nothing for our school...we still go at the regular time. (our students are only ther 2 1/2 hours in the mornings) So I get up and start to get ready for school when Mark tells me that Sarah and Michael now have no school. I am bummed..we still have just a delay. I have him check the computer...nothing. So I get in the shower and pray for a snoe day. I am now dresses and ready to go down for breakfast when I read NO SCHOOL....yea another SNOW DAY. My mind is going crazy with all the things we can do...we are all home! Once the roads had been plowed I decided that we should take a drive and look at the snow. But first Mark had to shovel the driveway....
While he was busy outside I was busy insideI had started a baby quilt and thought I would have plenty of time to finish it while Mark was outside. Our first stop was the library to drop off a book. Then we headed to downtown. I was looking for interesting, unusual pictures. Michael was helping me look. On the right side of the blog you can see some of our shots. They aren't exactly what I was looking for but maybe next time we will have better luck. But we have decided that I need a better camera...oh to dream!
