Last Day in Colorado

Our last morning in Colorado went really too fast. We had a whirlwind of things to finish...like finishing the painting in the bathroom, hanging mirrors, playing on the swings...all those important things. Ellis was really feeling awful and Michael was feeling a little better so we made one last trip outside to play. Ellis loves his swings. He and Michael played one more game of spatula ball and then we headed inside. Pappy was waiting with some refreshments...something I think Ellis enjoyed while we were there but I can betting that there won't be anymore "treats" anytime soon.We all squeezed into the car and headed for Denver. The airport is really cool and I wish I had taken a picture of it for you to see...well, maybe the next trip. Michael decided that he needed to sit by the window this time. We ended up getting him a blanket and pillow, hoping he might take a little nap. I should have known that wasn't going to happen. We still had some of Mom's homework to do so he kept busy with that until snacks came by. Then he ate his snack and kicked back to read the flight safety card. I now know that my seat cushion can be used as a flotation device. He cracks me up! We finally got home 10PM. You would think that we would drop into bed and have a great nights sleep...oh no. WE were still in CO time so about 2AM I think we finally crashed. It was great to be home but I wish I was still in CO. I think our next trip might be in the car so we can see the sights along the way. I think that might have to be in the summer when we don't have school and work . Miss you all!
