Tuesday...

I am actually playing catch-up today. I was so pooped after yesterday I was asleep before I put my head on the pillow. So a recap...Mark had the day off and Sarah was at her job bright and early, Ellis work up at the crack of dawn, Ella ate two more pacies....so as a stress reliever we decided to go on a bike ride. We didn't make it very far when Michael's crank shaft shifted and his chain came off. End of bike ride. Mark went back to get the van and I stayed with the bikes. Cassie and Ellis went on with the ride. Michael, not wanting to be left behind (oh, I forgot to tell you that he had on shorts and his winter boots...)decided that he would run along side Cassie and Ellis. Mind you, we live in a hilly area...but he chugged and chugged up all the hills. There is a little video clip to be added as soon as Mark gets to it...I have yet to master YouTube.I just don't know what it is...I give
Ellis lots of fun things to eat, play with him, swing on the porch and sing silly songs....you know all the regular Gammy things, but oh no, not good enough....
Ellis thinks Pappy is the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe it is the driving and honk honking thing...We have a rule at the table...you have to take a "no thank you bite" of things that are on the table. Last night it was zucchini and yellow squash. Peep had no idea what we were talking about. He ate this yellow squash and Michael gaged a bite of zucchini. I don't remember too much after that except I was exhausted and the girls went to the store and came back with tons of groceries and some sweet treats for me. That heavens for caffeine and sugar!

Is Ellis in the front seat of a car with an air bag?!? I hope the vehicle is not moving!!! I know it's not, just kidding. Yum, no thank you bies or as we call them, take a bite to be polite, are great. They usually get my kids and day care kids to eat. The other trick is what ever I'm eating, all the kids want to try. I've gotten day care kids to eat all kinds of things over the years.
