The McGilvary's


What a perfect time for the McGilvary's to come...Halloween. You can't imagine how big a deal it was is our subdivision in Wisconsin at Halloween. Kids seemed to come out of the woodwork...hundreds and hundreds of them! They walked, they skated, they were pulled in wagons and tractors, pushed in strollers....kids dressed up, as did parents and pets. I am telling you it was crazy! I miss it! We tried to make it fun for them since they would miss it at home. So we carved jack-o-lanterns, baked seeds, ate until we couldn't move and went to HalloZOOween...complete with everyone dressed in costumes.

That was by far the best time we've had! The kids are already asking when we can come back. They had so much fun and DJ misses Michael a lot. We're planning another trip in April, but I expect to work out in the yard then. We'll bring some plants, strong backs and gardening supplies to work on the yard. From what I've seen twice now, it's starting to take shape. Missing you all in wisconsin.
