One Week, A Million Things

 

There is a new little friend in town, and her name is Faith.  The littles love her!

She's a happy camper!

We like to do a little front porch swinging.

No one needs to worry; we are safe from all enemies!

The fourth day of preschool, and we are plugging right along.

We celebrated International Dot Day for a few days.

Outside recess on the driveway.

I had to steal her away from Pappy for my snuggles.

Boone loves getting into the dog kennels.

And Blakeley likes to chill in the Calm Down Spot.

A little cat nap.

More activities dealing with more dots.

These two are making dots in the playdough with plastic lids.

We are using the smaller Legos today.

Our Kindness Stars squares are getting filled up really fast.

They are working on a patio mural like in our book today, Sky Color, written by Peter H. Reynolds. 

And speaking of books, another one was delivered!  I'm telling you, a girl could get really spoiled by all this love.  Thank you, whoever you were!

Every morning we say the Pledge of Allegiance.

The dobbers are making their first trip to the table.

Rubber bands on and off the pool noodles were a great hit!

Even in double digits, they still humor me by wearing their special, homemade, Wammy-created birthday crowns.

Pappy's favorite thing to do is put babies to sleep on his chest.

We had two date nights this weekend.  Some very special friends from WI came for a dinner visit while they were in the area.  That was so fun.  We talked, reminisced, and we promised to be there for their daughter's big wedding in November.

Looking forward to it and being able to love on my WI families.

To top off the weekend, Mark's brother gifted us tickets to the Aronoff to see The Great Gatsby!  The music was amazing, the set design was out of this world, the costumes were to die for, and our seats were the best.  I felt like the country bumpkins going to the big city to get a little bit cultured.

And today, after church, a visit from this guy and his parents.  Kory (and Mandy) fixed the doorbell in about two seconds.

I'd mark this week as full and successful!
