Best Looking On The River

 

Last Saturday, a group of awesome women from the Cultivate Women's Ministry Group met up in the Little Miami River (thanks, Kory, for all of your help getting our kayaks there) for a morning of relaxation.

The water and weather could not have been any better.

Kory and Gabe were waiting on the bridge for us to pass to get these 'drone-like' shots.

We saw a few turtles on the logs along the shore.

I could do this every weekend.

I had never paddled this section of the Little Miami.   We left from somewhere at a nice put-in at Ft Ancient and pulled out in Morrow at Little Miami Canoe Rentals.  A shout-out to the nice young men who carried my kayak up the bank. 

We stopped and had lunch on the bank of the river and watched other kayakers float down the riffles on the backside of an island.  Which was the perfect stopping point!

I'm ready to go again! Anything! Our next outing is hiking!  Thanks, Kari, for making all the arrangements!
