A Saturday Filled With Love And Anticipation

Wammyville Mom's and Dad's along with Wammy and Pappy had a baby shower for the Gratsch family!  Did I mention that they are expecting twins!  A boy and a girl.  And I don't know who is more excited!  Well, maybe I do.

I managed to take a few pics before the guests arrived and then Ali took over.  Before the gift table overflowed with gifts.  And can you guess how many gummy bears are in the jar?

I was beyond disappointed that the Blessings Bear didn't arrive before the shower date.  It is still not there.  So we made lemonade...instead of fabric, we used note cards.

I put a plea out on Facebook for teddy bears and my village came through with a huge garbage bag full of all types and sizes of bears.  Now to figure out who owns what bear.  This could take a hot minute.

Marney's parents

We knew there would be lots of kids and they would need something to do while Zach and Marney opened gifts.

My 'boys', don't know what I would do without them.

Gabe working really hard trying to figure out how many gummy bears there were.

Writing some blessings.

So much good brunch food!  I was worried we wouldn't have enough food.  But I should have known that God knew we were feeding the five thousand.  He would make sure we had enough and then some.

The outdoorsmen compare notes.

I love seeing food and happy people.

The family of four soon to be six!

Lending a healing hand...never off duty and I don't care.

Jon and his little buddy, Bridger.

The next pics are what happens when the 'boys' get ahold of my phone.

Gift opening time.

Our little girl's name...Blakeley.

And our boy, Boone.

All of us working hard on our assignments.

Bridger wanted to help.

And he did!

Bridger tried his hand at folding tissue paper.

Now they can come home from the hospital!

The due date is the end of March!

The boys waiting to carry everything to the car.

While the adults were watching the gift openings, Cooper and Josie were keeping the kids busy with games.

They did such a great job!!

Cooper was so gentle with the little ones.

Winner of the gummy bear guest.  What would you guess?  Cooper came in second with something like a guess of 600.  When actually the total was 604.

So glad that we were able to gather together to bless these two little bundles of joy.  We will be blessed when they come to Wammyville!   I can hardly wait.  It will bring back so many memories.  Hopefully will will not have forgotten everything I learned.
