Huge Success...Best Ever

The Saturday finally came.  It's Wammyville Pumpkin Patch time!

This year I added a few more fun things...well, maybe more than a few.

Jase relaxing and reading his Dogman book.

This year we had dinner.  We roasted hot dogs on the campfire.

They were better than delicious, even when I ate mine cold.

There were tons of delicious side dishes provided by Wammyville Moms and Dad's.

I was checking the lighting for our annual photo op.

Wammy and Pappy

The Gratsch family

Connor

The Arman family

best buds

Sometimes we call them the crazies.

Murph and the some of the fam.

Amanda and the kids

The Sstouffer family.  They were headed to a Halloween party just up the street.

The Heitkamp boys.

Erin and her Wammyville grads.

Bridget with the boys.

Murph's favorite photos op station.

The Heitkamp family

The Bruce family

Missing a few of the yahoos but look at all that energy.  They keep me young!

Colton AKA The Grinch found a bummy one.  Is it a pumpkin or a gourd?

One non-traditional choice and one traditional one.

The search is on for the best pumpkin.

Sometimes you need a little help from Dad.

Amanda and Adi discuss the choice.

It is such a difficult decision.

Sometimes your choice weighs more than you do.

Nora, the over-seer.

Dad to the rescue.

John Bridger is locked in.

Are they going to feed me?

Hey, wait a minute...

Popcorn by the campfire.  We opted for the non-sugar treat this time.  We will have a campfire next year.

I love a good campfire conversation.

Pappy on watch.

Some of my friends and I are just listening to a story that may not be true?!

He would have been out for the count if we could have had another five minutes.

Ave wasn't able to come on Saturday so Monday after she got off the bus she got to choose a pumpkin.

Gabe was in Lima visiting family so he also was able to choose a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

It was a great night.  Everyone had a great time.  We didn't lose any of the yahoos.  The food was amazing!  The clean-up was fast...thank you to the kitchen fairies.

Going over in my head how to make it a little better for next year.  I already have something up my sleeve.

Thanks to everyone who made all these memories possible!
